Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions about how online coaching actually works? Below are answers to the most common questions clients ask before getting started — from what you'll need on hand to how check-ins and adjustments work throughout your program.

Get In Touch
  • What's included in coaching?
Every package — month-to-month, 3, 6, or 12-month — gets the same full coaching experience: weekly check-ins, a fully individualized nutrition and training plan, video form feedback, supplement guidance if relevant, bloodwork monitoring alongside your physician, direct access to me between check-ins, branded tracking tools, and a full intake questionnaire to kick things off. The only difference between packages is commitment length and rate — longer packages cost less per month. See package options →

  • How does online coaching work?
It starts with an intake questionnaire so I understand your goals, training history, schedule, and any health considerations before we build anything. From there, I'll set you up with a training and nutrition plan and a branded tracking spreadsheet. Each week you'll log your weigh-ins, measurements, progress pictures, macros, and completed workouts and cardio, plus any notes on stress, sleep, adherence, or anything else affecting your progress. I review it, make adjustments to your training or nutrition as needed, and send it back with feedback. Between check-ins, you have direct email/text access to me — you're never waiting a week to ask a question.

  • Why online coaching instead of in-person?
Online coaching works best for people who want to learn the why behind their program, not just be told what to do. Ideally you've got some resistance training background (3–6 months) and are comfortable with a macro-based approach to nutrition. If you need someone physically present to push you through a session or correct your form in real time, in-person coaching is the better fit — otherwise, online lets me do essentially everything an in-person coach does, without the schedule and location constraints.

Based in the SF Bay Area and want in-person coaching instead? Get in touch and we'll talk it through.

  • Which package length is right for me?
Shorter packages are a great way to test the waters and build early momentum. Longer packages give you more room to work through plateaus, refine your nutrition as your body changes, and build habits that actually stick — plus a meaningfully lower monthly rate. If you've already completed a package, month-to-month coaching is open to anyone looking for flexible, ongoing support.

  • I'm using — or considering — enhancement. Can you help with that?
Yes. Supplement protocol guidance is built into every package, and health/bloodwork monitoring happens alongside your physician throughout. I'll help you think through timing, structure, and what to watch for — always in coordination with your doctor, never in place of one.

  • What's my objective as your coach?
Two things: get you to your goal in the most effective, sustainable way possible, and teach you enough along the way that you become self-sufficient. My aim is for you to eventually take the driver's seat — I'm not trying to make you dependent on me forever.

  • What do I need before we start?
Just you, ready to be consistent, and about 15 minutes to fill out the intake questionnaire once you sign up. I'll handle the rest — plan, spreadsheet, and check-in schedule.
